YES the social websites like facebook and twitter which have the ability to share minds and opinions between the people especially youth can also rise up and support revolution as happened in Egypt which 
we called 25 feb  revolution.

Also, many writers and journalists had set up their own blogs and websites to show
their opinions  . 

Many Issues were exposed to the readers like Corruption , Looting and theft.
